State Fire Marshal: Barbour County House Fire Believed to be Ars - WBOY.com: Clarksburg, Morgantown: News, Sports, Weather

A fire that destroyed an old farm house in Barbour County on October 3 in believed to be arson, according to the State Fire Marshal's Office.

The fire occurred at a home along Route 57 at approximately 12:14 a.m.

The house was already engulfed in flames when emergency crews arrived, Philippi Fire Department officials said.

The house was a total loss.
