The trial of former Salem City Manager David Mayle continues in Harrison County Wednesday.

Jurors heard testimony on behalf of the state from a former city council member and former police clerk Radonna Thompson.

Mayle and former city clerk Sherry Olenick are accused of embezzling thousands of dollars from the city of Salem.

Last month, Olenick pleaded guilty to felony falsifying accounts and felony conspiracy to embezzle.

She also agreed to cooperate against Mayle.

Mayle's trial will continue through the week.
