The West Virginia State Police responded to a two vehicle collision on W.Va. Route 20, south of Hinkleville, in Upshur County at 7:05 p.m. on Oct. 9.
Rudolf J. Spek, 69, of Buckhannon, lost control of his 1999 Chevy Malibu and was struck by an oncoming vehicle.
Spek died as a result of injuries he received, according to state police.
