    An electrical fire destroyed a home in Harrison County Tuesday night. The Harrison County 911 Center said it started just after 12:15 a.m. on Locust Street in Salem. It said the fire appears to be suspicious.

The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department is investigating a fatal accident in Marion County involving a dump truck and a pedestrian.

It happened around 4:20 p.m. on Shriver Run Road, off Blue Goose Road, in Fairview.

Authorities said Everett Reeves, 69 of Fairview, was hit by a Mack dump truck, owned by Yost and Yost Pipe Company.

The driver of the truck was Shawn Kuhn of Fairview, according to a press release from the sheriff's department.

Reeves was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident happened on private property.
