The Morgantown Police Department is using social media to identify those involved in the post game mayhem in Morgantown after the WVU vs. Texas game.

The police department has posted a number of photos on Facebook from the post Texas game mayhem during the weekend of October 5 through October 7 and is asking for your help in identifying several people.

Police said the pictures feature persons of interest who they believe saw or committed crimes.

The public has been quick to respond, and the police department said it has already identified one person.

"I'm sure it's been used by other police departments," said Captain Kevin Clark, of the Morgantown Police Department. "I myself haven't seen that, but I'm sure with the increase in use of social media over the past couple of years, it's defiantly a tool that we're able to use and started to use."
