    Clarksburg City Council and members of the community turned out to a special meeting Thursday evening.  Council heard the concerns of the community about Clarksburg's application for Home Rule.

The search for Laurence Howard Nichol will continue this weekend, and MECCA is asking for the public's participation on Saturday, October 13.

MECCA is asking for anyone who can help search for Nichol to report to the Cheat Lake Elementary school at 7:30am for a large search on Saturday. It advises participants to dress appropriately and wear bright colored clothing, orange if possible, due to hunters. 

On Friday, only trained search personnel report are asked to report for specific searches. It said this allows time for officials to combine all information. 

MECCA said its search teams and community members have provide information that will help the search.
