National Alternative Fuel Vehicle Day Preview Held at WVU

The National Alternative Fuel Vehicle Day Odyssey is next week. Friday there was a preview just for West Virginia University.

WVU students and faculty were the first to experience the 2012 introduction to alternative fuel.

"One of the things that you really have to do to get people to accept these technologies is they need to understand the technology," said executive director Al Ebron. "They don't have to understand how the technology works they just have to understand how it works for them, the drivability and that kind of thing."

There was a cut away preview of a Toyota Prius and other alternative fuel vehicles.

The nationwide event for will be held at 160 locations on October 18.
