The Clarksburg Water Board is working on a project that will provide more accurate readings for its 8,000 customers.
The board recently approved purchasing 54 automated residential meters per month.
The board is currently looking into grant and loan money to purchase enough meters for every single one of its customers.
It said not only will it benefit customers but employees too, as it will make reading water meters more efficient.
