West Virginia Elected Officials spoke to Junior and Senior Students at Grafton High School Friday about the importance of voting.

Students were able to register to vote for next month's election.

The school said this is a great way to inform students about the election process.

"This next presidential election is going to be pivotal for the state of West Virginia," said Grafton Principal Dr. Joseph Findley. We thought it was best to expose them to as many different people as we possible could that could give them insights on how to be civic minded and vote."

The assembly was put together by the school's HIY Club.

Early voting will begin on October 24. Election Day is November 6.
