Raze Group Working Towards Tobacco Free Parks in West Virginia

The leading cause of death and disease in West Virginia continues to be tobacco use for both smoking and spit tobacco.

The Raze group or teens against tobacco came together for their regional kick off event on Saturday.

Kids talked about new information, and how to get their most important goals met.

"It's not just smoking it's about tobacco in general, and this state is mostly about chewing tobacco and we're just trying to get the information out to teens," said Rachel Brown, teen advisory committee member.

The Raze committee's biggest goal is to achieve tobacco free parks in West Virginia.

They already making progress.

All parks in Clarksburg are now tobacco free.
