Vehicle Accident Closes Northbound Lanes of I-79 in Monongalia C - WBOY.com: Clarksburg, Morgantown: News, Sports, Weather

A vehicle accident closed both northbound lanes of Interstate 79 in Monongalia County Monday afternoon.

The accident happened at mile marker 142, near the Goshen Road exit on I-79.

Three cars were involved in the accident but no one was injured, officials said.

Both lanes were still closed at 4:10 p.m. but traffic was moving on the shoulder.

The Marion County Sheriff's Department, Winfield District Fire Department, and Marion County EMS responded.
