Golfers in Lewis County are remembering two state troopers killed in the line of duty Monday.
Stonewall Jackson Resort hosted a golf tournament to support the families of Trooper Eric Workman and Corporal Marshall Bailey.
The two men were killed chasing down a suspect in late August.
Organizers said troopers give so much of themselves, it's time they received something in return.
The event closes with a reception tonight, but Cayton said they've already raised more than $40,000.
