LOST CREEK -

Two people were transported to the hospital following a two-vehicle accident in Harrison County Monday night.

The accident happened just after 7 p.m. on Route 270 near Lost Creek.

A 2012 Jetta, driven by Heather Sneberger, 28 of Beverly, crossed the yellow line onto oncoming traffic and crashed in another vehicle, driven by Daniel Leonard, 33 of Lost Creek, according to the sheriff's department.

Sneberger and Leonard were both transported to United Hospital Center.

The sheriff's department said Sneberger was later transported to Ruby Memorial but there's no word on her condition.

Leonard has since been released from UHC.

The Harrison County Sheriff's Department is investigating.
