For high school students this time of year is prom season, but some students aren't old enough to attend or don't like all the hassle of going to prom. So the Clarksburg Library hosted an anti-prom party on Saturday.
For high school students this time of year is prom season, but some students aren't old enough to attend or don't like all the hassle of going to prom. So the Clarksburg Library hosted an anti-prom party on Saturday.
Katie joined the WBOY team in October 2012 as a General Assignment Reporter. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clarion University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Mass Media Arts, Journalism, and Communication Studies with a concentration in broadcasting. During her senior year, Katie was the News Director of her campus television station, CU-TV, along with being an anchor and reporter.
Katie grew up in the small town of Kane in northwestern Pennsylvania. And even though she's a small town girl at heart, she's more than happy to start her career in North Central West Virginia.
When Katie's not in the newsroom she enjoys golfing, baking, crocheting, spending time with her family and friends, and rooting on her favorite football team, the Steelers.
