The city of Mannington is one step closer to the replacement of the Clarksburg Street Bridge.
Mannington City Council has passed an ordinance providing funding for the project through bonds.
City officials will meet with the Division of Highways on Monday to discuss the next step in the project.
Workers may have to relocate two utility poles and some underground telephone lines.
The project will begin next March and should be finished by the fall of 2013.
