Restaurant Road Trip: Three Ways Inn

WHITE HALL -

The Three Ways Inn has been up and running in White Hall for more than 48 years. The restaurant is known for its hoagies and homemade house dressing.

"We get a lot of compliments on our hoagies, and our house dressing has been a staple in Fairmont for quite some time," said owner Greg Apanowicz.

Apanowicz said that it's not the ingredients in the dressing, but how it is made that makes it special.

Other items on the menu include everything from lobster tail to homemade pierogies, a recipe from Apanowicz's mother.

"They're just like your mom or your grandma used to make," said customer Jim Haun.

The restaurant, which used to be a house, got its name because there were literally three roads that led to the building before Interstate 79 was built.

Apanowicz's father recently passed away, and Apanowicz said he just wants to run the place like his dad would, with a relaxed, home feel.

The restaurant includes banquet rooms that can seat up to 100 people and a separate bar in the front. Apanowicz said it's great for business meetings or any other occasion; he wants it to be flexible for customers.

Customers said they keep coming back because it's close to home, has great food and affordable prices.
