Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital will host a softball game against St Joseph's Hospital in Buckhannon.
Students at Davis and Elkins College are supporting a charity with which many of them hope to work in the future.
The Davis and Elkins Student Nurses Association held a blood drive Friday afternoon with the American Red Cross.
Students in the association checked in donors and supported the blood drive staff.
They said they're glad to support a career they hope to pursue themselves one day.
"As nursing students, we know the importance of having blood on hand in case of a trauma or and emergency where somebody needs that, so this is a very important thing for anybody to do," said Davis and Elkins College nursing student Sabrina Martin Vernon.
