MORGANTOWN -

West Virginia University played host to the Mountain Stage at the Creative Arts Center Sunday night. Mountain Stage is a traveling radio show that is broadcast over National Public Radio.

Sunday's show featured four acts: The Trishas, Ben Taylor, Logan Venderlic, and Kat Edmonson. The headline act, Brandi Carlile, came down with an illness before the show and was unable to perform.

Mountain Stage is a two hour production usually featuring four to five guests who play three to six songs. The production is recorded in front of a live studio audience.

The next Mountain Stage production will be recorded in Charleston, West Virginia at the Culture Center Theatre next Sunday.
