Barbour County Grand Jury Indicts 11 People

The October 2012 term of the Barbour County Grand Jury has returned indictments against 11 people.

The following list, which indicates the felony charges that the individuals were indicted on, has been provided by the Barbour County Prosecuting Attorney Leckta L. Poling.

James Ray Arbogast, 46 of Elkins, was indicted on two counts of breaking and entering; one count of destruction of property; and three counts of conspiracy.

Jason Allen Collins, 20 of Philippi, was indicted on six counts of breaking and entering; six counts of conspiracy (breaking and entering); three counts of conspiracy (grand larceny); and three counts grand larceny.

Jeremy Alan Davis, 35 of Philippi, was indicted on one count of receiving/transferring stolen property, and one count of destruction of property.

Austin Jared Huffman, 22 of Belington, was indicted on one count of breaking and entering; and one count of destruction of property.

Gary Eugene Kidd, 44 of Elkins, was indicted on two counts of breaking and entering; one count of destruction of property; and three counts of conspiracy.

Denise L. McKinney, 60 of Flemington, was indicted on one count of fraudulent claims to insurance companies.

Calvin H. Reid, 22 of Philippi, was indicted on six counts of breaking and entering; six counts of conspiracy (breaking and entering); three counts of conspiracy (grand larceny); three counts of grand larceny; one count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab; and one count of conspiracy (operating or attempting to operate a clandestine lab).

Cody Lee Reid, 20 of Philippi, was indicted on six counts of breaking and entering; six counts of conspiracy (breaking and entering); three counts of conspiracy (grand larceny); and three counts of grand larceny.

Garrett Joseph Summerfield, 21 of Philippi, was indicted on six counts of breaking and entering; six counts of conspiracy (breaking and entering); three counts of conspiracy (grand larceny); three counts of grand larceny.

Mark Wayne Thompson, 25 of Philippi, was indicted on one count of operating or attempting to operate a clandestine drug lab; one count of possession of substances to be used as precursors to manufacture methamphetamine; two counts of exposure of children to methamphetamine manufacturing; and two counts of conspiracy.

Stacy Kay Thompson, 31 of Philippi, was indicted on one count of possession of substance to be used as precursors to manufacture methamphetamine; two counts of exposure of children to methamphetamine manufacturing; and one count of conspiracy.
