The city of Mannington has kicked off its 2012-2013 Relay for Life Campaign: "Hand in Hand Together, We Can Find a Cure."

Organizers said seven teams have signed up and will raise money over the next seven months.

The Mannington Relay has raised almost $90,000 since it formed three years ago.

The relay is set for May 17 in Hough Park in Mannington.

There will be a Relay Float in the Mannington Christmas Parade on December 1 and a Mitten Tree will be on display for students in need.

On December 2, the Mannington Relay will be sponsoring a lunch with Santa for kids ages 4 to 12.
