A three-vehicle accident in Randolph County sent two people to the hospital Monday evening.
It happened around 5:30 p.m. on Route 219 between Elkins and Beverly.
The Randolph County Sheriff's Department said emergency responders had to extricate a man from his vehicle, which was flipped over. He was then flown to an area hospital.
The sheriff's department said a women also sustained injuries in the accident and was transported to Davis Memorial Hospital. The driver of the third vehicle was unharmed.
The names and conditions of both victims are unknown.
Fire departments from Elkins and Beverly and West Virginia State Police responded to the accident.
