Fairmont State University held its fourth annual Haunted Halls on Wednesday evening.

Haunted Halls is a community event open to the public.

Parents brought their kids out for some trick-or-treating and photos with Frankenstein. The fun also included a haunted house and a carnival.

"We have kids everywhere. If you haven't had your picture taken with Frankenstein you should. I think it's a really good event. We get to open our doors to the community. We get to have some time with them and everybody looks amazing," said Jessica Cooper.

Fairmont State invited families to make donations to its food bank. It said it hopes to expand the event next year to attract even more families.
