We have all heard the saying, "A dog is a man's best friend." You may never know how true that statement is until you meet a dog that comes from the program "Paws 4 People."
We have all heard the saying, "A dog is a man's best friend." You may never know how true that statement is until you meet a dog that comes from the program "Paws 4 People."
Maddie's Angels will sponsor a Pet Supply Drive for the Marion County Humane Society on Saturday, October 27.
It will be from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dairy Creme Corner in Fairmont.
There will be a bake sale and adoptive animals from the Humane Society.
The Humane Society is at full capacity and needs supplies.
Maddie's Angels said it hopes to fill up two trucks with supplies.
"All the rooms are full," said Lisa Boyce, of Maddie's Angels. "They need a lot of adoptions. They have a lot of wonderful pets. They have larger dogs, they do have smaller dogs. They just really need adoptions and fostering right now."
The Humane Society said it needs all kinds of supplies especially blankets, dog and cat food, cat litter, and toys.
