Vehicle Accident Shuts Down Route 50 in Taylor County - WBOY.com: Clarksburg, Morgantown: News, Sports, Weather

A two vehicle accident closed Route 50 in Taylor County Friday afternoon.

The accident happened just before 1:30 p.m. in front of the Ford dealership in Grafton.

A Jeep Cherokee and an Isuzu pick-up truck collided.

Two Healthnet helicopters were called to the scene and two people were flown to the hospital with unknown injuries.

Grafton Fire Department, Taylor County EMS, Flemington EMS, Flemington Fire Department, the Taylor County Sheriff's Department and West Virginia State Police all responded to the scene.

The sheriff's department is investigating the accident.
