PDC Energy in Bridgeport has joined One Warm Coat to collect winter coats for non profit organizations in need.
PDC has asked the community for donations for the past two weeks.
Friday it dropped off several large boxes of coats at the Union Mission in Fairmont.
The mission distributes winter coats every year to those in need free of charge.
"To work with their employees and to encourage their employees to do this, it says a lot about the company itself," said John Ervin of Union Mission. "It says a lot about the employees to do this. We are just really thankful to have this kind of assistance."
The Mission will set up a time in the near future to give those coats away.
