
Winston Irons/WVRJAA Clarksburg man will spend 20 years in federal prison after being convicted of two felony drug charges.
Winston Irons, 39, was convicted of possession with intent to distribute cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute marijuana. Irons had been selling both drugs in north central West Virginia for more than five years, U.S. attorneys said.
Once he serves his prison sentence, Irons will be on supervised release for three years. He is being held in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail until he's transferred to a federal facility.
Irons was arrested in October 2011, in Buckhannon, when police found drugs in his car during a routine traffic stop.
