FAIRMONT -

Pet Helpers held bingo Sunday afternoon in the East Fairmont High School to raise money for its organization.

A good sized crowd filled the cafeteria to play bingo, and win great prizes. More than 20 Coach purses were given away to the winner of each round of bingo played.

Bingo players were able to buy their cards ahead of time for the price of $25 for 20 cards. The card for the last game cost $5 for one.

The purses were donated to the event and inside of each purse there were additional prizes donated by local businesses. There were also prizes available through raffle tickets.

Pet Helpers is a non-profit pet rescue located in Fairmont. All of its funding comes from donations, fund raising, and adoption fees. The organization doesn't have a facility, but keep its pets in foster homes. It is always looking for volunteers and foster homes.
