Early voting has been suspended in several West Virginia counties following overnight storms that resulted in treacherous road conditions and power outages.

Secretary of State Natalie Tennant announced early voting in Braxton, Jefferson, Morgan, Nicholas, Preston and Randolph counties would be suspended for the day Oct. 30.

Tennant's office has been in close communication with election officials in several West Virginia counties and the list of counties suspending early voting could expand.
