The Monongalia County Sheriff's Department is looking for a man they said is responsible for an armed robbery early Tuesday morning.
The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Deputies said a female victim said that a man forced his way into an apartment in Marjorie Gardens when she answered the door.
The robber pulled out a handgun demanding money and threatening to kill the victim and her children, according to the sheriff's department.
The victim complied, giving the man money.
The robber is described as a mixed race thin male that's approximately 6 feet tall. He was wearing a dark colored ski mask, hoodie and light colored pants at the time of the robbery.
