Grafton High School is working with the Taylor County Family Resource Network to show students where bad decisions could lead them.
The Family Resource Network brought four Pruntytown prison inmates to the high school Monday to talk about their experiences, and how they ended up in jail.
The inmates said they dropped out of high school because of drugs and alcohol.
Grafton Principal Joseph Findley said he doesn't want his students to make the same mistakes.
"We wanted to talk to them through the inmates about making good choices and what the negative alternatives could be if you don't make good choices," Findley said.
"Our freshman class has asked questions from how much time are you serving, what kind of drugs, what about the gateway drug? How did it affect your families? And our inmates have been answering those questions for them," said Walesca Marrerl, of the Family Resource Network.
The Family Resource Network said it hopes to learn more about what goes on inside of schools from the students' questions and comments.
