The Union Mission in Fairmont said the holiday season is its busiest time of the year.
With Thanksgiving closing in, the Mission needs volunteers and donations.
It needs non-perishable food as well as turkeys and mashed potatoes.
The Mission feeds more than 800 people on Thanksgiving Day, and it needs volunteers to cook and prepare meals for delivery around the county.
"We need to transport the food to the homes then we need to serve it here in house. When you're serving nearly 800 people, it seems like an insurmountable chore but every year we do it in about two years time," said George Batten, Union Mission director.
The Mission will also host the Lion's Club Christmas Party on December 15. The first 100 people signing up will be able to participate.
