A two vehicle crash occurred on Dents Run Boulevard in Granville around 1:40 p.m. Wednesday afternoon.

According to a witness, a Silver Sedan driven by an elderly Monongalia County man slid and started to go off the road toward the right. The driver then over corrected the vehicle, causing it to cross left of center, striking a large flat bed delivery truck head on.

The truck driver was not injured. The driver of the Sedan was transported to Ruby Memorial hospital by Marion County EMS with a minor head laceration and a minor hand laceration.

Granville Police and the Granville VFD also responded to the scene.

Granville Police are investigating the accident.
