The Ritchie County Humane Society said it has just three dogs left from the group that was found abandoned on the side of the road back in June.
More than 30 dogs were found in June. One was found dead along the road and another died the next day. Currently, 27 dogs have been sent to a foster home, rescue group or loving home.
Three terrier-mixes are left at the shelter. The shelter hopes someone will adopt all three together.
"Well, months later, they all have their hair back. They are loving dogs, all of them," said Angela Templeton, a volunteer at the Ritchie County Humane Society.
