MORGANTOWN -

Thanks to Superstorm Sandy, Halloween was a November holiday this year in Morgantown, but that didn't stop anyone from having fun.

The weather cleared up just in time on Thursday for trick-or-treaters to enjoy the holiday and get some candy.

"I think that the kids are just happy that they had the opportunity to trick or treat tonight and we're glad that it's not raining because a lot of our costumes are fragile in the rain and we just hope that everybody is able to enjoy this evening. Hopefully, those who don't have power will get power soon," said mother Heidi Wiedebush.

Monongalia County returns to school on Friday, but many schools in the area are still closed.
