The West Virginia State Police have arrested a Preston County man, and charged him with the shooting death of a Maryland man.

State Police and the Preston County Sheriff's Department were dispatched to a shots fired complaint in the Hazelton area at 6:35 p.m. Saturday.

Justin Michael Fontaine, 28, of Hazelton, allegedly shot and killed Jerame Sines, 33, of Friendsville, Md. with a shotgun at Fontaine's residence, state police said.

Fontaine has been charged with first degree murder and is currently being held without bail at the Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
