Precinct Changes Made in Several Counties Before Election Day

Many local communities are still without power following Hurricane Sandy, causing certain changes on where voters will vote on Election Day.

In Lewis County, Precinct 3, which was scheduled to take place at Roanoke School, will be moved to Lewis County High School in Weston.

In Tucker County, Precinct 10 will be moved to St George United Methodist Church on 45 Minears Mill Run Road in Parsons.

In Preston County, Precincts 19, 23, 28, which were supposed to be held at Farmers Wildlife Club Building, Aurora Memorial Building, Eglon Community Building, will be moved to the Aurora Volunteer Fire Department. 

In Randolph County, Precinct 180, previously scheduled to be held at Bowden Fish Hatchery, is being moved to the James Cain Courthouse Annex in Elkins.

In Upshur County, precincts 25, 27A, and 27L, previously scheduled to be held at French Creek School, will now be at the National Guard Armory in Tennerton.

Precinct 4, which was scheduled to be held at Arlington Community Building, will be moved to the Rock Cave Elementary School.

All Barbour County polls will be open on Election Day.
