The National Mining Association has announced the release of a new website.

The site, www.nma.org, "is designed to make it easier for visitors to find the information they need through a reorganization of materials on the site and clearer navigation tools and formatting."

According to a new release, the new site also highlights NMA's key platforms: CORESafety, Minerals Make Life and Count on Coal.  The revisions comes after input from a number of users of the website.

"Count on Coal is a campaign to make America aware of the benefits of affordable, reliable coal-generated electricity," the Count on Coal site states. "From homes to businesses to schools, hospitals and local governments, we all benefit from affordable electricity with stable prices and reliable delivery. These benefits are threatened by current policy choices at the state levels and in Washington."
