Several construction projects are taking shape in Clarksburg.

The City of Clarksburg purchased some former Brownfield properties and paid for an environmental clean up to get them ready for a new use.

A new Shop 'N Save will soon open in Adamston.

Oliverio's Peppers will open a new manufacturing and distribution building in Montpelier. And Valley Supply will open a retail and distribution center on Ohio Avenue.

"The developer is planning for the future and is in the process of negotiating other leases which will include the Shop 'N Save and two to three other tenants," said Clarksburg City Manager Martin Howe.

Howe said the city expects all three locations to be finished in the next six months.
