The WCLG Radio station's Holiday Food Drive is back for its 31st year.

The food drive, which benefits the United Way, is still accepting applications for assistance.

You have until Tuesday, November 20 to submit an application. To register, you'll need to bring proof of income/expenses and proper identification (birth certificate, social security card, driver's license, medical card) for each family member.

To find out if you qualify, call (304) 296-3300 or visit the Connecting Link, located in Room 208 of the Monongahela Building at 235 High Street in Morgantown.

Monongalia County schools began collecting food earlier this month. The school that collects the most food will be awarded a dance.

Also earlier this month, Morgantown residents participated in a Postal Drive collection, in which they donated food by setting it near their mailboxes.

Items can also be donated at several local businesses.

Last year, WCLG collected $49,000 in food.
