WHITE HALL -
The White Hall Town Council met with local businesses Monday night to discuss plans for the future.
The council has some strategic goals set for the community, and it wanted to get opinions and thoughts from the businesses' representatives.
Some of the council's goals are to design and develop a city park, new sidewalks, maintain and improve the streets and roadways, and one other plan that the mayor of White Hall said is his main goal.
"The public safety building is really the top priority. We built this building here in 2006, and we've outgrown it with the police department. They just need their own building, and that's my main top priority" said mayor Jesse Corley.
Business owners gave some opinions but finally agreed to meet at a separate time, and then reconvene with the council to discuss the goals.
