Fairmont State Football Duo Named WVIAC Players of the Week - WBOY.com: Clarksburg, Morgantown: News, Sports, Weather

Fairmont State's Daniel Monroe and Matt Wilmer came away with some more recognition on Monday.

Monroe was named the WVIAC Offensive Player of the Week. The sophomore tailback carried the ball 11 times for 118 yards and four touchdowns in the Falcons win over West Virginia State on Saturday.

Wilmer was named the WVIAC Special Teams Player of the Week. He registered 241 all-purpose yards on Saturday. The senior from Keyser capped off his career day with an 86-yard kickoff return for a touchdown.
