WVU Professor Weighs in On Presidential Election Outcome

Posted: Updated:

Few were surprised Tuesday night when West Virginia voted Mitt Romney and one West Virginia University professor said the same could be said for all 50 states.

Neil Berch, an associate professor in political science, said he picked all 50 states correctly.

Berch said the race may have been built up as being "very close" but he said the numbers didn't quite support that over the past few days.

Berch said one of the contributing factors to President Obama's victory was being "more likable" than Romney.
