Balloons were released in Morgantown to raise awareness about the danger of land mines.
Saint Francis De Sales Central Catholic School and its group Proud Students Against Land Mines, or PSALM, held the release.
The red and black balloons represented a person who's been injured or killed by a land mine.
"For the last thirteen years our students have been dedicated to the issue of raising awareness about children all over the world who can not walk safely to school, to church, to wherever they're heading because of the dangers that lurk in the ground," said Nora Sheets, PSALM leader.
The students work to raise awareness about the presence of land mines around the world.
