BELINGTON, WV (AP) — Belington Mayor Jody Haller has resigned after a local pastor questioned his legitimacy to hold the office.
BELINGTON, WV (AP) — Belington Mayor Jody Haller has resigned after a local pastor questioned his legitimacy to hold the office.
The Preston County Office of Emergency Management is no longer collecting information about generator usage as a result of Hurricane Sandy severe weather last week.
Officials said they collected more than 1,500 reports in the last two days, just for Preston County residents, that they will share with the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
The Preston County Emergency Management office still wants Preston County residents to call in structural damage reports, then FEMA assessment teams can evaluate the need for assistance.
Call the Preston County Office of Emergency Management at 304-329-1855 to report damage.
