Fifth Third Bank recently help United Way of the River Cities make an impact in the community.

The United Way of the River Cities has a $1.25 million goal for its fund this year to support its partner programs in the areas of learning and earning, families and children, health and wellness along with basic needs and unforeseen hardships.

"We are very fortunate to have such a wonderful partnership with Fifth Third Bank," Laura Gilliam, United Way executive director, said in a news release. "Their generous gift supports United Way of the River Cities' work to improve community conditions and create lasting change.

"Fifth Third Bank is a valuable and longstanding community partner."
