FAIRMONT -
The East Fairmont High School Foundation brought an old tradition back to Fairmont.
Dozens of vendors and students groups spent their Saturday afternoon at East Fairmont High School for the Bee Boutique.
A variety of items, such as Christmas wreaths and bracelets, were for sale.
Food was available and there were dozens of displays.
Proceeds from the event will go toward scholarships, grants, and school support for East Fairmont's Graduating Seniors.
"We are always looking for different ways to raise money," said EFHS Volunteer Mary Jo Thomas. "We thought this would be a good opportunity to showcase the school, the students because they are selling some things too. The band is selling fruit, the journalism department for the yearbook has pretzels, they have some Bee Wear."
The Foundation has provided more then $700,000 in total support to students since it was established in 1991.
