A settlement has been reached between Ken Diviney and four of the men that left his son comatose after a November 2009 attack.
U.S. District Judge Irene Keeley approved a settlement with Colin McKeefery, Brandon Groux, Tyler Husfelt and Alexander Woods, who were present the night Ryan Diviney was attacked, but weren't accused of the attack, according to the law office of Alex Shook, Ken Diviney's attorney.
Diviney, 23, has been in a coma-like state since he was brutally beaten by Austin Vantrease and Jonathon May, who are friends of the other four men.
Vantrease is serving a two-to-10 year prison sentence on a malicious assault charge. He was recently denied parole. May completed a one year jail sentence after being found guilty of battery.
