Car Fire Slows Traffic on Route 33 in Upshur County

A car fire Monday afternoon backed up traffic on Route 33 in Upshur County.

It happened just after 2:30 p.m. on Route 33 West near Mount Nebo Road.

It took firefighters only a few minutes to bring the blaze under control.

Neither the driver nor the passenger was injured but the car is a total loss.

No word on how it started.
