MORGANTOWN -
Buffalo Wild Wings holds a fundraiser for a local organization twice a week.
Monday night's proceeds went to two organizations.
The restaurant donated a portion of its earnings from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.to the Wild Warrior Challenge and The Children's Home Society of West Virginia.
The Wild Warrior Challenge is a front for the West Virginia National Guard. They host a 5K obstacle course in April to benefit the Family Readiness groups in Monongalia and Preston County.
There is usually only one fundraiser per night, but the manager made an exception for Veterans Day.
"And with the Veterans Day one we also wanted to do on top. Just because of Veterans Day we wanted to thank the troops and stuff like that and just get our name out there and help them out at the same time," Buffalo Wild Wings manager, Robert Jemison said.
If your organization would like to hold a fundraiser at Buffalo Wild Wings just call and ask for a manager.
Wednesday's proceeds will go to WVU's Honors Fraternity.
