Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin announced Nov. 14 his deputy chief of staff, Erica Mani, will leave his staff for a position with the American Red Cross.
Mani joined Tomblin's administration in November 2010, and her final day there will be Nov. 29.
"Since joining my administration, Erica has been a tremendous asset," Tomblin said in a news release. "I have greatly valued her leadership and dedication over the past two years.
"I extend my sincerest best wishes as she enters the not for profit sector, and I'm confident she will continue to serve the people of West Virginia well in her new capacity."
Mani will serve as the Regional Chief Executive Officer for the West Virginia Region of the American Red Cross.
Prior to joining Tomblin's staff, Mani served as executive director of the Consolidated Public Retirement Board, as Deputy Secretary of the West Virginia Department of Revenue and as General Counsel for Gov. Bob Wise.
